	LOVE THEORY forms at the beginning of 2004 and with the first line up – including the former members Paolo Monteamaro (vocals, guitar) and Riccardo Renzetti (guitar) – the band starts to play important and well appreciated gigs soon becoming one of the main bands from their area. Live act is one of the distinctive points of Love Theory who offers different kinds of shows, both powerful electric concerts as well as more intimate and fascinating acoustic ones, focusing their activity on a Pearl Jam tribute show at first. At the end of 2006 the band has to face their first line-up change which brings a new guy behind the drumkit, Leo Verrigni. At that point the band begins to develop its original music project, which culminates in the release of a self-titled EP in November 2007. Following this very first publication there’s an intense studio work that brings the band to further increase its catalogue in sight of an upcoming release. In March 2009 Love Theory finally enters the studio with the bass player Stefano Di Giovanni to start recording their first full-length album which will be released in 2010. In the meantime their Light In Her Eyes is featured in the Rock 4 Life compilation, a collection of tunes from emerging bands released by the USA label Quickstar Productions and currently available on over 300 digital stores. On October 29th 2010 the band releases their debut album On a Rope with the London label WatchOut Records. The record featuring 12 tracks is distributed in both physical (digipack Audio CD) and digital format on iTunes, Amazon, Napster and many more online stores. Following this release the band faces a line-up change that brings Umberto Cimino on bass and starts to promote their brand new album with an European tour gaining increasing appreciation among the public.
